Removing Sealant From Acrylic

I recently bought a used 60 gallon tank, it's in decent shape, just needs some cleaning up, however the idiot that I bought it from put a plastic background and used sealant to attach it to the back.

What is the best way to remove this without scratching up the acrylic tank?
