i wanna take the gravel out of my 100 gallon tank and replace it with sand.is there an easy way to do this?

a device that sucks it up maybe?

If you have a regular gravel vacuum, you can suck it out with that. Simply get the water flowing and then remove the tube part so it is just the hose. You won't believe the suction it has. I removed all the sand from my 29 gallon that way when I had to change sand. Just don't get it near your fish or plants or it will grab them too.

I learned that from Inchworm so I'm glad to pass it along and see that it worked for you. I did experience a clog but it was from a plant. It made it just about half way through before it stopped. I almost never got it back out of the hose.
