I have a Juwel Rio 240 with a 3D background in (which is made up of 2 and a bit panels) and I've decided I want to remove it and just use a black background stuck to the outside of the glass for 2 reasons

Black backgrounds look better imo
The 3D background must take up a fair amount of space that could be used for more water

The background is stuck on with silicon and im just wondering if i pull the background away, will i be able to pick the silicone off in 1 or 2 pieces or will it require endless shaving to get it all off?

You can get silicone dissolver from the diy store or this kind of supplier HERE

HOWEVER, watch out because it will also wreck the seal of the tank so BE CAREFUL!
