oh your fantastic Bloo :good: , and it was your post i read originaly too  well im going to remove the blinkin thing :sly: because i am having the same probs with sludge etc ooo the things i could do with that space when its freed up :hyper: just got to wait till my new fluval405 is ready bacteria wise befor i switch the thing off how long do you rekon befor i can do this? :hey:
thanks a million :good:

one too many smilies lmao

Glad to hear it's of help :D

Well you could just stuff all your Juwel sponges into your Fluval and remove the Juwel straight away. Or you could run your Fluval in your tanks for a couple of weeks and then just remove the Juwel.

Either way should provide the same results :good:

are you seeding the new filter with old filter media from the jewel?

well had thought about putting the sponges in the fluval but while i was hoovering the sand and cleaning up after itook the jewel filter out my husband who in his infinate wisdom put the blinkin thing outside in the bin ruined my medium :grr: so now i have a new filter running which will be accompanyied by all the problems you get with new tank syndrome. ialready have cloudy water! :shout: although my water stats last night where fine will test again later befor my night shifts start. Im now looking for a filter medium donar how do i contact one and get some much needed bacteria FAST!!!!
guess its my fault any way i should of said i needed to keep it but i didnt expect or see him take it away :-(

Shucks that's really really bad. Look very closely at your clown loaches because they will almost certainly get whitespot :/

Wish I could help with media donation, but too far. Hope you find someone really fast :good:

Perhaps there is someone close to here if you check out this thread.
