Haha... I laughed at her last night.... and she only did it because she forgot the words

I didn't get it... I was waiting for the red buzzers... thought that's britain's not talented.

I didn't like that "Katie" the "Punk/Rocker Chick" who couldn't sing but made out she was the next Madonna.

I thought it was hilarious, said to my hubby the next day that he had to make sure he wacthed that bit, and that was the only 5 minutes he missed cuz he put the kids to bed!

Turns out that is is actually mentally unstable.........serious

However the woman claims she is perfectly healthy and wants to continue on, although the bosses have already axed her.

It may touch a few peoples nerves but if she was "mentally unstable" too unstable to be on a TV talent show, why is that still stable enough to take her kid out for a walk to the auditions with her. Surely if it was that bad there would be a carer or something with her? For her child's safety.

To me I initially thought she was high on drugs but...

Just because she's "disabled" in the head doesn't mean she shouldn't get a shot at becoming something she wants to be. Unfortunately people made a laughing stock of her, although she has done what the show wanted entertain people because that's what they are entertainers.

They didn't know about her condition. 1 thing to take a kid out, another totally different other to be faced with the stress of learning songs, being on tv etc...........but we know she'd never get through anyway

I'm with Beth. The stresses of a recording artist are huge. Can you Imagine trying to learn, record, Market, perform, a new album? The process can be very stressful when it's not on your own terms (although when it IS on your own terms it can be brilliant fun). Most bands and singers etc hate touring. Can you imagine sleeping on a bus for 5 months? Waking up somewhere new and singing the same songs day after day? With each gig people expecting your best performance? If you don't perform well enough at one show your label won't be happy and you'll lose thousands of album sales. If the album doesn't sell well enough you'll owe your label thousands (whatever your advance was minus the minuscule amount you've earnt from record sales.

Not just anyone can take the pressure involved. Not just anyone can take the risk of owing thousands (or sometimes more) to their label.

At least she didn't throw a cat in a wheelie bin.

They didn't know, then they knew, they then axed her from the show and then she released a statement saying she is healthy.

We all know 95% of the artists we see won't win it and won't get anywhere they won't even get through the stages where they look at hte photos and say no. However to crush her dreams by kicking her out or "Axing" her from the show was cruel. I honestly think they should of let her carry on her "dream" rather than crush it after being told she was through to the next stage. It has nothing to do with signing contracts/producing albums because we KNOW she won't make it that far but like I said crushing the dreams too early by axing rather than being beaten is more painful as you didn't even get your chance to fight.

This would apply if she actually had a chance to become an artist if we look at the susan boyle story then we can understand what you mean. However we all know she wasn't capable. I just believe axing her from the show was the wrong course to take. It seems if you're not deemed "right in the 'ed" you can't make your own decisions, after all I am yet to find out what illness she actually has, it just claims she is "mentally unstable" which in those vague terms can apply to any of us at some point in our lives.

You make a good point.

Maybe her mental instability is something to do with her murdering and eating small children on the even of her childrens birthdays? Could explain it.

In fairness if she has bouts of anything which show abusive or threatening (or even violent) behaviour then they will want her out for the benefit of all the other performers. Just in case.

Or maybe she refuses to sleep in the cage they prepared for her.

Lol,

According to a few news sources she has been interviewed over this and claimed it was a publicity stunt by the X factor producers. I can someone what find this believable, considering they have a LONG time before airing her audition. I mean they have months beforehand right? and then they happily put it in the edit out of all the other shockingly good or bad performances. Then two days later they pull her... along with the "auto tune" I suspect there is something fishy about it.

She claims there is nothing wrong with her health at all and that she was just "stressed".
