It is possible in any way to remove the internal filter casing thingy thats inside the Juwel Rekord tanks? I have an unused external eheim canister filter I would like to use and think the internal filt is a wast of valuable swimming place for the Green Spotted Puffer's I want to get...I am upgrading my tank in the new year so the fish will be moved to a larger tank so no need to suggest a bigger tank, these are only going to be baby ones, not even an inch long...but yeah...any suggestions?

it is stuck on with silicone, and you can remove it carefully. There should be 4 blobs of silicone at each corner where it is against the glass. if you can't just pull it off, get a sharp knife and try to cut the silicone. try not to scratch the glass though!!
