Can anyone tell me what they look like and how to use them? I am looking into trying to make my tank brighter and heard reflectors help. Is there an American website that will ship them internationally I can get them off of? Or even Ebay and/or Aqaubid.

Thanks,

DL

Where in the world do you live for a start.
Then we can direct you to the nearest seller.
Or make your own reflectors.
Buy a length of 3" pvc downfall pipe from the local diy store (pennies). cut it to length to fit inside your hood and slice it down the middle. Voila... you have two reflectors...paint them white and screw two flourescent tube clips through the halfpipe and into the hood. Cheap... simple and effective.

They are like mirrors which attach to your tank stip lights, reflecting all the light down into the tank and not up into the tank lid.

goto your tank manufacturer website and search for the appropriate size/strength for your lights.

eg.

My Juwel 125 uses 2 x 18W rated reflectors.

Thanks guys! Right know after alots of searching the cheapest thing to do seems to just buy a whole new hood from my LFS and just use the light strip. I've contacted websites and people are quoting me 100+ dollars for the cost of shipping!
