redtail shark

I think if you buy it while it is still very small it would be okay. But it will eventually outgrow the tank and you will need to upsize it.

They are a very nice looking fish, especially when they get larger. I have a ruby shark. Its fantastic.

HTH :)

I think it will go as big as 6" so technically it should be fine with itself on a 10 G tank, but he/she will be happiere and more active in a larger tank.

A 10g is diffently not big enough for a Red tailed sharked as they can reach 6 inches and are semi aggressive.

I agree with ryan, a 10g is definitely too small for an adult RTS. Some people say a 20g is fine, but I personally prefer to keep them in 30g or larger if they are in the company of other fish.
