I would I go about getting red texas cichlid babys. Would the best way to do it is to buy a male red devil and 3 female texas? Then when one of them pair off just leave the pair in the 55g tank together. I also heard that red devil and red terror make a good combo in having flowerhorns. Does anyone have any personal experiences with breeding to get flowerhorns or red texas cichlids? Any thoughts would be very helpful.

i dunn oabout the mixing but under no circumstances would i keep two fish as aggressive as a red devil and a texas, in a 55G for the intentions of breeding. its too small because when teh breed they need space. or the male will kill the female. and when the red devil gets to the 16" mark if hes a male hel need a really big tank. much larger than a 55g.

RT = Texas x any red fish... :good: go for it..and let us know.. i made some myself. i made it with a RT x mammon :D
