I thought I would post my RTBS for you guys to have a mooch at. I was very worried when I bought him when I came to feed and for 3 or 4 days he never seemed to eat. That is all straightened out now!

I am very surprised to see that they are critically endangered in the wild, such a shame for such a beautiful fish! I got him around 3 months ago from my local PAH, I am lucky to have a friend there who is very knowledgeable and takes care of the fish department. I am presuming he is a couple of months old as he has grown loads since I introduced him into the tank.

I was also very surprised to see how "aggressive" he was to new tank mates. I added 3 new fish and for 4 days he has been chasing them around but luckily he is starting to chill and leave them. I now understand his behaviour and will be careful with any introduction of new fish once I get my bigger tank.

Without further or do here is Dern'um!

What are you feeding it? We just got one a few days ago and haven't really seen it eat yet. Its in a 20g tank for now but it will be moved into the 30g or a 50-60 I'll have to get down the road when it grows. Still trying to find a list of fish that work well with them since they aren't a fan of light once we turned the light off she came out. Ours is only about 2 inches or so. The tank it went into was painted black ( all of our tanks are ) and all you could see what a red tail swimming around  We removed the paint to say the least though

Very nice pictures. I feed mine mostly blood worms, but I have to use a turkey baster so the other fish don't nibble themm up before he gets to it. I love my red-tailed shark :D

I feed a combination of foods for my fish as they all have different desires..

I feed king british flake food for the gourami's, rosy barbs and my single playt. For the bottom feeders consisting of Clown Loach/ YoYo Loach/ Corys and one single lizard loach they get Tetra Prima pellets (a red colour type) and for the Catfish they get JMC Catfish Pellet.

I have seen him go up for some flake but he generally just mooches about the glass and wood. He seems to love Cucumber too :)

He is very nice. I had one for years, they are very nice fish mine would just guard between a bucket and castle ornament, the only fish allowed in there was the bristlenose. The only fish he was scared of were my silver dollars but I think they are just scared of everything anyway.

That's nice. Mine is such a peaceful fish to everyone else just did not like the new clown loach babies when they were added. He hangs about with the Rosy Barbs most of the day in-between his cleaning of the wood and glass. :)

They get worse as they get older and generally chase after any fish with a similar body shape to itself. nasty pieces of work and if its not now, it will be ;)
