a freind who works at my lfs has a 4 inch rtb shark that he no longer wants.

here is my fish list

8 x congo tetras
2 x senegals
1 x flagtail.

my question is,could i add the rtb shark to my tank????

Tank size would be good.

my tank size is 48 inches x 16 inches x 21 inches

tank has a 3ft piece of bogwood plus lots of plants.black sand is the substrate.

That's a 70gal so the tank size is very good, not sure on the other two fish like 2 x senegals
1 x flagtail.
So i would wait till members who know these fish can tell you if the red tailed shark will be ok with them.

anyone else???

rtbs and rainbow sharks (like mine above), seem to do well with most fish other than themselves. You CAN NOT PAIR this fish. Other than that, just make sure they are fast swimmers. I have kept mine with rainbows, barbs, SAE's, plecs, loaches, and others without any problems. He is around 4.5-5" at the moment.
