red spots

I have 2 stone loaches and have just noticed red spots on one of them..

any ideas what this might be?

could it be some form of bruising, as i just done a partial water change, and also moved a few stones about while i was disturbing them.

Red spots are one of the earliest sign of a bacterial infection. Some are caused by parasites which attack the surface of the fish leaving it open to infections, in other cases they can be a sign of stress often accompanying an ailment.

right its all going wrong again, i found him hiding under a rock. he now has an open wound on his back. i did put some fish fixing medicine in the tank, and none of the other loaches or fish have any symptoms that i can see...
my camera is too poop to show this... i must buy one soon.
