Red Sore On Pleco

Hi,
 
Can anyone tell me what is wrong with my pleco please ?
 
She has a red sore on her side which I haven't seen before. Could she have been in a fight or is this something else ?

It's hard to be 100% certain, but I would guess that's some sort of bacterial infection. Definitely needs treating, IMO; I don't think just clean water is going to be enough for that.

I am currently treating for white spot. I have a loach with white spot. The rest of the fish don't have the spots though.

I agree with FM it looks bacterial, can you get Esha 2000 in Australia? without knowing exactly what it is, Esha 2000 is a very good broad spectrum medication.
