Red Sea Yeast/sugar C02 System

I got the Red Sea refill that came with the system. Do I dump all the sugar and yeast into the system, with the recommend amount of water?

Also, can the electric cable from the diffuser be partially submersed?

I just set it up. It's a large amount of mixture, do you think it could over flow into the tank? It only leaves a small space for air so i'm worried.

Yes just dump it all into the large container. I have the pump fully submerged to the bottom of my tank.

I have this system and have had no problems with that. And whenever I need to refill it, I use my own sugar and yeast mix. I Just fill up the little container that came with the yeast in it, with my own. And the larger one that had the sugar in it, fill it up to the line that it has in it. This is a lot cheaper than buying the refill packages from Red Sea
