Red Sea Max 250

Hi everyone,

i am new to this site but not knew to keeping marine fish and corals. Anyways i was thinking of getting the Red sea max 250 tank, and was wondering what you guys think about it? Would also quite like to see what it looks like when fully setup if you guys have any piccy lying around.

Over priced IMO, I would much rather get a Juwel rio 240, my own lighting unit, skimmer heaters etc.

hi yea i had a juwel 300 i think about 5 years back, and a deltec skimmer and a sump underneath, and halide ligting above. All of which was a bit cumbersome, plus once you have bought all of these items it does all add up. Was just thinking it would be a good idea to have it all the one package, and nice with the lights tucked away in the hood and no cables etc. Although i have heard they can overheat due to the concealed lighting even though it has fans.

Louis, I have to agree with truck, over priced but I also think they are ugly

Have a read of some of the journels and look at the photos to get some ideas The only person on here that I can think of who owns a Redsea is Stef, so have a look at his journel
