Hello all,
Just wondering if this is a red ramshorn snail?

It's a ramshorn but there are several species it could be. Your photo is either a fully grown pest ramshorn which only grow to a couple of mm or a baby large ramshorn which grow to a few cm.

Hello. Snails, in small numbers, are a benefit to any fish tank. They're the best cleaners. Don't feed your fish too much and the snail number will be manageable. Too many will add to the waste load in the water and you definitely don't need a lot if dissolved waste fouling the tank water. Rams Horn snails come in many colors. I have some older ones that are white and some can get quite large.

The small ones nearly always come in as unwanted hitch hikers on plants either as snails or eggs and are brown or brownish red. The larger ramshorns can also arrive on plants, but they are more usually purchased at a larger size, and come in several colours
