Changed the flakes on these guys a couple days ago and this male seems to have a curly red poop? Water parameters are perfect and don't see and difference in the aquarium. Thinking maybe it's the flakes since they are a bright color compared to the other ones I was using but the curly part has me almost thinking parasites?

Agree with Gary, it's normally food related. Red flakes give red poop, etc. Colour enhancing flakes normally make it green, yellow or red. to test this put the fish back on their old diet for a week and see what their poop looks like. Then put them on the new food again. If it's the food the poop will change colour according to what they eat.

If they do white or clear poop, that is an issue. Coloured poop is not normally an issue.

Thanks for the input and it's for sure from the food, I ordered some new flakes and they came in very bright colored so just switched back to the old ones and have seen no issues!

It happens to me if I eat too many beets! TMI
