Red Mark On Cory

whats the red mark on the pepper cory?

also notice a tiny red dot on other side of same cory

both marks seem to be on surface, no inner inflammation/bleeding

i think it looks like a cut of some sort do you have any sharp objects in the tank? and do any other fish have cuts like this?

red mark is gone tonight... no band-aid required thankfully

was the only fish with mark

could be the end of lead sinker, used to weigh down plants (only got 2cm of sand)...i've pointed the two ends towards the bottom of the tank now just in case the cories dig to it
