Just wondered what prices people see these in the shops for at the moment, i've seen then range from £25 to £12 from the 4 shops ive been in. Im pondering half a dozen but man thats pricey... :/

Over here in Alabama, US, my LFS has them in for $10, thats really cheap, I beive thats about 6 quid.

Over here in Utah, US, I have found them at a various range too. I bought my first ones when I couldn't find them anywhere and they were on sale for $20 a piece. I found them the other day for $10 a piece. The owner gave me a deal too cause they hadn't had time to settle and he wouldn't put a guarantee on the fish. He said that he would be selling them after quarantining them for a few days at $15 a piece.

There's a guy selling baby ones on ebay for about £7 each.

I didn't snap them up as I can't buy any until I've got a bigger tank first!

Never seen them in any of my lfs as far as I recall.

Several Shops in the Herts/Bucks area selling at £5.75 t £7 :)

now they are $20 at same LFS, prices do range very much

funnily enugh i went looking fr them yesterday,

went to MA and they were £14 each or 2 for £26

then went to a local near me and they were £15 each or 2 for £25

then a whyvale garden centre and they were £10 each or 3 for £25

yeah, its a little mad, but having checked the shops again, you can really see the difference in quality when they are cheaper.

Difference in quality in what way, Tizer?

Redline's do not take well to changes and will then lose their red stripe for days, as a result of an attempt to catch some with a net; water parameter changes; tank moves; furniture changes etc.

6 USD where I live, if you convert it though :p

In the two LFS near where I am they are £14 and £16.50 (the latter are really nice looking Torpedos) Wish I Had a load of these

This probably doesn't mean much to you, but over here in Australia they go for $80 at my local shop :S

currently the UK (global may be) prices are going up. guessing their being restricted.

Got mine for £11 each baby ones they are expensive but worth it :)
