I've kept them several times. Nice little things. As long as your water is reasonably good, and they are not overly stressed by boistrous fish, they are undemanding and easy. They ate TetraMin and Aquarian. Liked frozen mosquito larvae, which was a really good conditioning food for breeding. When breeding, the males become a really dark brown colour, particulaly above the red line, look quite different from normal colouration.
Like all Rasboras, they are best in quiet tanks, with softer, neutral to slightly acidic water, but not that critical.
