My local LFS recommended a Red Fromia Star for my 24g Nano Cube. The star in about 1.5 inches from end to end. Does anyone know anything about them? Are they difficult to keep? water conditions? diet? aggressiveness? Life span?

As posted on the other thread you started regarding this issue:

As your tank is only 1 month old it is not mature enough to support a starfish neither, in a lot of peoples opinion, is a 24g cube large enough.

NO.... Stars can't survive in a 24G 'glass' of ocean water. Read thru my 24G thread and see how I almost nuked my tank. When a star dies, it disintegrates VERY RAPIDLY and can crash your tank. I don't recommend:
-sea stars
-nudibranchs
-sponges-
-flame scallops
-anemones

to name a few. SH
