Red Fin An Rainbow Shark

Would a red fin shark be ok with a rainbow shark, I have a lot of hiding places and heavily planted

Pretty sure only 1 shark is recommended in a tank as they are so territorial when bigger.

no expert but i hear its not a good idea and ive never seen them stocked at the lfs with more than one shark of those kind in a tank either.

Nope, wouldn't do it unless tank is over 55-75G with driftwood and plants.

it is advised not to keep these fish together as they get very territorial with age, but you could try a flying fox (epalzeoryhnchus kallopterus) they are very similar body shape but very different colour iv kept one with my rainbow shark for years without any trouble.
