i just got five red eyed tetras over the weekend. all of them had the red markings above their eyes. tonight i noticed one of them no longer has that. does anyone have a clue?
All fish have the ability to change colour to some degree, usually when stressed or wen mating. The loss of the 'red eye' may just be temporary and should return when the fish is settled and happier.
