Any time I walk by his tank he either knocks the hood charges. When I feed him which all he eats is feeder fish and I've tryed to swich numerous times. When I feed him he splashed water all over me. Hope this will convince you not to get one. I had 2 and they were the same. Sadly one died of dropsy

This is exactly the reason I love cichlids and the only kind of fish I will buy. (the aggro ones that is)

I've had fish that were a lot more aggro than a RD and loved it!

Hmmm, I see you have an empty 120g sitting there...

I absolutely love all of the aggro fish. The RD is very aggro but it's definately not even close to the top of the list when it comes to aggressiveness.

If I had a big enough tank, I would get a RD. As it is, I already have a Jag that I'm gonna HAVE to get a bigger tank for in the next 6 months.
I love fish with attitudes. And thats what cichlids are......... Fish with attitudes!

I finally have friends to talk about aggro fish with now!

Of the ones I have right now, the ones with the most attitude are my Oscar, JD, GT, Jag, Texas, and believe it or not my Green Severum.

Yea, I wouldn't guess a severum as being aggro but there's never any hard and fast rule in the cichlid world. With what you have there I would guess in order of most to least aggro-

Texas
GT
JD
Oscar
Severum

They aren't all in the same tank of course.
The first 3 are together, the JD is in isolation for a bit. The GT is with a pink con and the Sev is with a striped con.
I do wonder how it would play out if I had them all in one huge tank.

If I had to guess, I would say once the jag hits 8"-9" he would start liquidating all the others.

They hit that psycho mark around there and then it's "Look Out!"
