Red Claw Crab / Cichlids?

So i finally got a bigger tank and am looking at putting some red claw crabs in my old smaller tank (a standard 1 ft tank ~10 g). I will most likly make the water low-end brackish as teh crabs like this. However my wife would also like some cichlids.

Does anyone know if there are any smaller ciclids that would be compatible with my red claw crab and would be ok in brackish water?

In a 10 your really pushing it, considering the crabs will need a half land tank.You could maybe get away with a pair or orange chromids and a few crabs but you would need to provide the crabs plenty of land.
