Red Cherry Shrimp

If I put red cherry shrimp in a cold water tank would they still breed? The tank is probably at its coldest at the minute and it's around 17 degrees celsius although the minimum is normally 18degrees.

I've read somewhere that they would and won't.

yeah a cold water tank is fine, they may breed at 17, the cut off point is 16 and it's bound to vary.
