Red Cherry Shrimp

Are these freshwater? I have a black ghost knife, two clown loaches, and a dragon goby, would they eat this shrimp?

I have a 10 gallon tank I use for guppies could on of these be put in there too?

Those are all pretty big fish, and in my experience with black ghost knives, they eat neons, so I bet they'd eat something far smaller.

In a 10 gallon with guppies is fine. Mine mix with guppies great, though it's possible the guppies will eat their tiny, immature offspring if they can find them.

Make sure you have a clump of something like Java Moss for them to hang out in for security.

Yes they are frest water.
They will also breed totaly in frest water as the young do not have a planktonic stage, and are basicly tiny shrinp from hatching.

I've got several shrimp for a year now but sadily i've not breed them though.
Their be best with the guppies, and thother fish u list would just see the shrimp as a nice little snack!!!!

Check out petshrimp.com for more info, I'd recommend keeping them in their own tank. Just about any fish will eat shrimp, though if there's a large enough number of shrimp with sufficient cover, they may survive.

They go around $2-3 each in those Ebay and Aquabid lot auctions.

Thanks man But I don't like buying live things online so do you know how much it may cost in a LFS?

Probably depends on your location.

There's three different LFS I've seen them in here in NYC. One place sells them for $1.50, another for $5 and the last for $8 I think. I heard they're pretty good shippers though, it probably won't be too much a risk to buy them online.
