Red Cheek Danios?

Right i was in a fish store today and saw some really attractive dinos.

The where all white with red cheeks?

Now I really wanted to buy these as they where stunning but am not sure if they where dyed or something?

Were they not some kind of albino with transparent gill covers?

the only white(ish) danio I can think of is Devario strigillifer
but they don't have pink gill plates.
perhaps a photo would help

no photos sorry live 30 odd miles away from the shop.

They where the same size and shape of zebra. very nice tails and fins.

Not sure if they had pink cheeks tbh. Just they had "Red Cheek Danios" written on the tank.

These where white as snow bit lighter than albino cories

I have seen these in this shop myself they are not dyed, they are a leucostic long-finned form of zebra danio i think.

Zebra colour morphs seem fairly common at the moment.

That shop had some really nice tanks Luckly i got out without maxing my credit card
