I found what looks like a red bristle worm. Is it good or bad? I'm looking it up now but if you know let me know and I can remove it if it's bad.

thanks :good:

I believe it might be a fireworm since that's all I can find but it doesn't match completely. It looks like the gray bristleworms but is red in color.

There are MANY varieties of bristleworm. The "fireworms" are typically bright orangish red with very large almoast bleached white spines. They realy stand out color wise. Most common bristles are more of a rusty color, a dull red.

Where did the LR come from? Fireworms are typically only found in Florida/Carribean rocks. Anything pacific rarely has them

hmm that's why I don't think it's a fireworm. I don't know where the rock came from. I have four different types that I got at my lfs. Two I can find out later this week the rest I can't. They don't have bleached out spines, that's why I was doubting them because this is completely pale orange. I guess this would be just a regular bristleworm since it's more dull red/pale orange color. I was confused since I've only seen gray one's before -_-
