Fish Fanatic
FIRST-I am not a spammer and do want to be a part of this forum for more then just the classifieds. have already learned a lot from TFF in just a couple of days. I have experience with Piranhas and would like to help new to the breed possible owners. i will continue to post here even if im not allowed to post in classifieds. thank you
I have been taking care of 4 red belly pacus for my friend who is moving. They are in a tank with my 6 Red Belly Piranhas. They do very well in the tank with my beautiful piranhas. They were with 14 red belly piranhas when he had them at his house. They got nip'd at sometimes on the fins when he wouldnt feed enough or the Pacus would eat all the food first. With MY piranhas they havent been nip'd at one time and all have perfect fins now. Temperment is very good and they are very active.
Livestock: Red belly Pacus
Age and condition: about 2 years and in very healthy stress free condition
Quantity for sale: 4
Reason for Sale: they arent mine and i dont have the permenent space. Helping a friend who is moving
Delivery or Collection: would like pick up. havent shipped a fish before. can do with advice
Sales price: would like $100 for all 4 but very open to offers
Postage & Packaging: would like to to pick up.
Location: red deer, alberta, canada
Photograph: will provide on forum and by email. forum pic to be up tomorrow
Location : Red Deer ALBERTA, CANADA
Their diet:
95% of their diet is New life spectrum pellets
Some veggy pellets
Smelts
Shrimp
Goldfish when he used to have them(never once since i have them)
Scallops
Sinking shrimp pellets
They have a very diverse diet and always eat what i give the tank
They keep my piranha shoal moving about the tank all day and instigate feeding usually. Sometimes they are too active when feeding and cause my piranhas to cluster together until the commotion is done.
Just very beautiful fish but they will get too big for me to keep them. and i like my piranhas a lot when alone.
4 x Pacus. 2 @ ~7" body, not including tails
2 @ ~6" body, not including tails
Will post pics tonight when i get home
Price is to be negotiated. He told me he would like $100 for all 4 though...
