I would go 2" front and slope it to 6" at the back (so an average 4" depth)
30cm x 120cm x 10cm (Depth of substrate) / 1000 = 36l of substrate required.
Divide 36l by how many litres are in each bag and thats how many you need, providing its sold in litres...
however, ive just used an online calc for eco complete and it said 5bags... also some info on other aquariums that are similar in size also said 5bags, so I would go with that
