I've had a 15gallon tank for a year now, which has been largely successful. I had a real difficulty keeping Bolivian Rams (they were always very aggressive), but my Cardinal Tetras, Black Phantom Tetras, Gouramis and Amino Shrimp flourished, but I've taken them back to my LFS as I'm moving home and would like to keep new fish. I feel I'm ready for some more advanced critters.

So - an empty 15gallon tank (I still have my filter and heater running in the water to keep the bacteria alive).

I'm thinking of keeping perhaps:

* Kribensis and some other community fish

or

* Soft Shelled Turtles

or

* Figure 8 puffer fish (species tank).

or

* Paradise Fish

Any other suggestions or advice?

You probably meant to say it, but we assume you are feeding the bacteria ammonia if the filter is in the new tank or perhaps it is still sitting in the established tank? The bacteria will begin a die-off after a couple of days without ammonia.

soft shelled turtles is a no no they grow huge around 12inch plus diamiter :crazy:

kribs are good as is keyholes but if your worried about aggrestion then these will be the same as rams if no more aggresive :crazy:
