Recapeing Pleco

my 9 and a half " pleco keeps digging, everytime he diggs should i put the sand back down the next day as he makes it go all in the centre of my tank, or should i leave it?.

I would leave it, I liked it when my pleco dug about, it also means that no toxic pockets build up cause he is shifting the sand all the time

It's natural behaviour so you're unlikely to get him to stop doing it. So give up trying to re-level it each day and just accept it.

We have the same problem with our L205. He makes quite a mess and almost digs a trench! We don't bother trying to sort it out because that's where he usually ends up resting at night.
