ok, along time ago, about two months ago, i had a 10 gallon a mickey mouse platy, black dalmation molly and my first serpae tetra. all of the fish, cept the serpae died, due to dropsy. why didn't he die to? he is still here today. i am ver confused.

Serpae Tetra's are a hardy fish, certainly more so that Platies and Mollys. Mollys and Platies are also more prone to Dropsy.

Tetra's are shoaling fish and need to be kept in groups, what did you feed the fish, livebearers are prone to bacteria infections, best not to over feed them and keep them on a varied diet of frozen, flakes, and veg in there diet.
