I own a manufactured home. We have a 55 gallon tank. If we set up a really large tank like 100-150 gallons, would I need some kind of structural reinforcement? My house is on a perimeter foundation.

hard to say, the general rule of thumb is that if the main floor members run perpendicular to the length of the tank, and if the tank is placed up against a load bearing wall, you're probably ok for most 6' tanks. but it really depends on your specific situation, there's no for sure way to tell without really looking at the construction

Yeah i have the very same question and what my plan was to make sure it hits as many beams as it can and im building a 8foot stand for a 6ft tank and spreading the weight over as much of a surface as i can .My only new thought is does a 180 g tank or so need braces at the bottom of the tank to help hold the tank together? Or can it just sit on a flat surface without problems?
