Really Bad Day :(

My 2 year old sons beautiful ginger n white kitten got hit by a car today, and as its sunday i couldnt get a vet to help me in time. i rushed him to nearest vets n called the 'emergency number' what a joke that was took 5 mins to get someone to answer the phone and then their too buisy to meet me at the vets surgery where i was waiting!
My son used to play with him and take him to bed so when hes been calling for him tonight i really feel bad for him,tried telling him hes in the sky with the stars but hes trying to call him down. Im terrible at things like this i miss him too and my partners away at sea. i had to pick him up out of the road and was awful he was a lovelly cat

I am really really sorry, poor little kitten. You can only keep telling your son what you have told him. Can you get another kitten? Tell your son that the angels are looking after his kitten because he was poorly, and so he has to have a different one. Children are more tough than we make them out to be. Sorry you are having to do this alone though. You need to be strong for your son. It was just an accident.

I know, the woman who did it knocked on door and was so upset i told her it cant be helped was accident. i cant deal with getting another cat right now but i have to think of our son i know, his dad said same as you. thank you xx
