Re-Starting tanks

Has anyone wanted to re-set up there tank but they will miss the fish to much if they get rid of them. Right now i would love to get rid of my channel cats and gouramis and make my 55 community tank by moving all of the fish form my 30 gallon to my 55. That will leave the 30 empty so that i could make it salt water. I would love to do this but i think i will miss my gouramis and channel cats toooo much. Has anything like that ever happened to any of you??

i just had to re-setup my 25g tank and move all my africans to my 70g with my knife fish i just used a huge icecream container with hole drilled into it an with some wtuff in it and they have been fine for about a week now

I have wanted to get rid of my neons for months. I want to redo the tank they are in to make it more realistic ( get rid of the red, white and blue gravel that my girlfriend's little brother had in it). I can't flush them though. I am just not a cruel person like that. I wish I could find a store that would take fish or even someone that would want some neons.

And no one should either. I think it's total stupidity if someone flushes fishes down from toilet or kill them without any good reason. "To get rid of" isn't reason at all. When taking animals, they must be cared. Animal isn't just a decoration that can be replace if you don't like it more.

If someone want to set up tank again, then the first thing is to find a new home for fishes. If he/she thinks just "I'll flush them...", (s)he shouldn't get any living animal again

at the moment i have a stoked juwel 180 with fishes and plants in it. I had it for about 4 months or so now. but I always wanted a Salt water tank and I have decided to go ahead now and buy bits by bits slowly. But the bad thing is giving away my fishes away that I really do love.

So only good homes will be given to them and in the end if no one gets them it's back to my lfs

So if any one is interested let me know, but again only good aquarists that i know here.
