Thanks! My dwarf gourami is blue with red stripes ... or the other way round i'm not sure But i want to get him a friend or 2, would it matter if i got 1 blue gourami and 1 red one? Or should they look the same as he does?

That's not really a good idea. I have exactly the same DG as you, and wanted to get another. I got a red flame. They squared off in less than 5 minutes and the new one got bullied rather quickly. I had to return it immediately. If you are going to get any more DGs, I'd recommend at least two females. Unfortunately, finding the females can be tricky, as many shops don't sell them.
