Hello

Going for a malawi Yellow Lab set up. I've went from the below to a more text book set up. Just need to get him some tankmates. Thinking about 5 or 6 more. The tank is 30 g, 3 feet long.

Just bought the oceon rock today, after advice on here and I'm well happy with it. What do you think of the change?

looks lovely :0 much better than before, tho it was nice before

can i be cheeky and ask how much that rock costs?

Shelagh Oceon rock is normally like between £1.00-2.00 per kilo.

I normally buy 25kilos for £30, works out cheaper to about £1.20 a kilo

Thanks/ :D

I paid £19 for it. The lfs said it was 95p a llb. Dont know if that's good but it seemed worth it.

Yeah, just the one in there at the mo, by his self.

im not sure, looks nice, but in the other tank before, if the wood was upright it would break up the low level ;)

but it looks nice now! i think it needs something on the right ^^

but i like!

nice looking deco also wise to put those rocks in for the sake of good bacteria

Can you explain more? Is it rocks in general or ocoen rock? I know they are suited for their pysical attributes but don't know the chemistry?

well, its usually really heavy, so it can be costly.

I like the new rocks better and how you stacked them but I miss the wood. I would put the wood back in. But that's just me.
