Hi,

I currently have charged zeolite in a filter bag within my Blagdon filtration system. Apparently, after 3 days it is urged that I remove the filter bag containing zeolite and place it in a bucket with 3 litres of tap water and 681 grams of non-iodized table salt to re-charge the zeolite. I don't know what "non-iodized table salt" looks like but I've been told that If I was to use either the product 'PondSal' manufactured by WaterLife or 'Pond Salt Tonic' by interpet this would do the job if I submerged the bag for up to 4 hours.

PondSal product info: http://www.waterlife.co.uk/waterlife/pondsal.htm
Pond Tonic Salt info: http://www.pond-products.co.uk/Interpet_Po..._Tonic_Salt.htm

Does anyone know whether these products contain non-iodized salt?

Whats the best way of making sure there is no remaining ammonia within the bag of zeolite after re-charging it? (I am re-using the bag of zeolite and placing it back on tp of the filter media and don't want any ammonia to go back into the pond water).

Thank you,

Mark.
