RD Fins

hey guys just got my Red Devil about 2 weeks ago, and hes growing FAST! but one thing i noticed is that the tip of his fins are turning black also some on his scales, it doesnt look like black spots, its just turning black..i dont know if that makes sense.. can someone shed some light on this for me?

hi hyper. it could be that he is recovering from ammonia burns he could have received from wherever you got him. have you checked your own water for ammonia,nitrites and nitrates?
