it seems i have about 4-5 pregnant femal red cherry shirmp, but I am not sure. If the females have a yellow saddle that means they are pregnant correct?

Yup the are saddled, the eggs will drop down underneath on their next shed.

one of my saddled females died during her shed she must have got stuck or something cos she was like still half in - really weird but i never saw her saddled before and she was quite small so one of those things :)
My other few got on well right away and had lots of shrimplets :)

well I hope the shrimplets make it, they are in my 100 galloon hi tech planted tank. It is densly planted on the sides and the back, but in the middle area it ist just HC and b. japonica. Also they are in the tank with about 30-40 neon tetras and to flying foxes. Crosses fingers that the shrimplets live.

with it being planted you should get some survive

hopefully, i have about 40 rcs in my tank at the moment. i know it says that i have 20 on my sig, i just havent updated it. rcs did a number on my thread algae, i would like for some to survive to help battle even more.
