does anyone know of any smaller freshwater rays?? i was at my lfs and say tow big 12 inch at least rays , there soooo coool

Even the smallest freshwater ray species will grow to have a disc diameter of at least 15 inches so unfortunately there is no such thing as a dwarf ray species.

The smallest species I know reaches 12"-15" in diameter. These are Potamotrygon histrix and Potamotrygon reticulata so as CFC said there are no dwarf species. :)

i want to build a custom tank for a stingray. really wide and shallow. I think they are amazing creatures.
