ray breeding

just wondering if there is any info on the breeding triggers for south american rays, photo period, ph, temp,sperating the sex's for a period of time, any thing else, or is it just by chance

There are no triggers for spawning rays, being live bearers they pretty much breed whenever they like. All you can do is stick a compatable male/female pair in a tank on their own, give them pleanty of food and keep the water pristine, oh and cross your fingers
