Raw Meat!?

Hey....
I'm just wondering if raw meat (chicken/beef) is acceptale for a carnivor catfish?..
I threw a chunk of beef in the tank today and of course my barbs went nuts...BUT.... One my pictus actually chased it right out of 9 barbs mouth's and gobbled it right up...Now i know theres people out there with big catfish ("cough CFC cough") and was wondering if you used this at all.?

A very small piece of lean chicken breast or beef heart every now and again wont hurt but it must only be every now and again as a treat, fish dont really have the capacity to digest the proteins in mammal and bird flesh. I dont feed any of my cats these types of foods but my arowana and snakeheads are very fond of chicken breast.

my pictus cat likes tuna chicken beef pork cheese hotdogs and just about anything else i give it.


raw or cooked it doesnt seem to mind.
