ok guys im not really sure where to put this question. So ill give this section a go. I have had rasebora Harlequin for a little wisle now and i would like to brred them does any on know how to encorage them to breed? thanks alex

I have these for a while too and been wondering the same thing.
I read that to breed it you can put them in another tank and add in few large leaved plants since they lay the eggs under the leaves.
They also must be conditioned with live food for 2 weeks to have better and healthier offspring.
When the nitrite level in the water rise to quite high, change 50% of the water to imitate 'fresh rain' in their natural habitat to induce spawning.

Of course this is all theory since I never do it before. Good luck and let me know how it goes! :D

Why don't we move this from oddballs to the cyprinids section? :good:
