RARE BETTAS???

I want to get a new betta, cause mine is all worn out from fighting. THe next betta i want to get would be a rare one with nice colors. I'm gonna have this one by itself in a very nice 8 gallon tank. Its also never gonna see a fight in its lifetime. I will baby it and take very very good care of it.

Which color bettas are the rarest? Which bettas are the rarest? And how big can a betta really get?

What do you mean yours is all worn out from fighting? Rare colors I think would be orange and yellow(at least where I live they are). Around here you can only find crownies and veils, so I'd say if you want something that most ppl don't have you should get either a DT or HM. Size wise I would say about 2 1/2 3 inches or so. But I may be totally off on that.

i said im not gonna fight my new betta. Thats the only reason i bought my first one, to see it fight. ITS A FIGHTING FISH PEOPLE. BUTTT i like them more now than just to fight them so im going to CARE for this one dearly. Thats why i want a rare one.

If you just wanted a betta to care for you wouldn't care what color or how rare it was, and no they are not meant to fight, unless you got once straight from the wild they don't even know how to properly fight. Why would you post on a betta lovers forum about your fish being worn out from something that everyone here is so avidly against. People here rescue bettas that are being fought, and had I known what you had done with your last one, I wouldn't have commented int he first place.

I already told you in my previous post what I thought the rarest were, and more than likely it's the same colors that everyone on here will say. And I'd say that my first response will probably be the only one you will get concerning rare betta colors. I can only imagine what the rest of the comments will say. btw, DT and HM mean double tail and halfmoon.

you should be stripped of all your fishkeeping rights
