i remember i think i read somewhere that they were blind and now i see mine running into the gravel and grass and plants. Are they blind?
 
there is no such thing as a catfish with good eyesight :rofl: so yeah, hes probably pretty close to blind :lol:
 
Most cats rely on other senses to navigate, touch with their barbels, electrical fields on their lateral lines etc. Also the majority of cats have large pupils which allow large amounts of light into the eye, dazzling them in bright lights (like when u step into a bright room after a night out :lol: ) so when u observe a nocturnal cat in the day he more or less cant see as there is too much light, hence the bumper car effect!
 
that explains it. He sometime also swims upside down on the surface like hes skimming a wall until he stumbles into the flow of my penguin 330.
