Rant

thx, I'm just worried cause they've been out there fora long time now, apparently they are having some trucking issues so there is a delay.

Nope, still waiting for them:( I feel so cruel yet they were sposed to be here like on Friday!

I am so sorry you are having to go through this. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they will come to you tomorrow. What is the tracking number telling you, if anything?

It's pretty bad, they've been out for a week now... I check the tracking number like 5 times a day and since thursday it's telling me that the package left chicago on the 15th(that day) and nothing else... So annoying. Something tells me they wont even be here today. Maybe that's just cause I've been waiting since thursday.

Man, I am soo sad, I can't believe it, they still aren't here... I don't even think that they will make it alive... I just knew they weren't gunna be here today.

I'm sure syn's are super strong :flex: bettas. Maybe they got put in the truck of someone that still ain't liking Canada that much :grr:. I really hope they do make it. Maybe she should of put a G.P.S. device in with them so you can see where they are :p

hehe thx jungle king, you're trying so hard, I swear I felt like crying, I feel evil but I payed twice as much for express as for priority and it's like taking forever, it makes me mad.

a canadian friend of mine was trying to order fish from the same breeder i get them from, but the canadian transhipper is too busy to take any more fish. she tried asking linda olson in colorado to handle it, but linda said she can no longer ship fish to canada because post-9/11 all express mail packages get opened at the border....

What do they do after they have been opened?? She did fill out a customs form and everything for them....

Surely if they opened them and saw they were fish they would get them delivered right away. I hope so anyway,I believe they would. I've shipped fish to Canada once, priority, and they took a week. I was worried about customs as well and I jotted a little note on the custom label stating they were pet fish and to please, please make sure they got home.

I know you're worried sick, redbetta. I hope they come tomorrow. Have their tanks ready just in case and don't feed them too much too quickly. At least the weather is nice so you don't have to worry about them freezing or boiling. Those are usually the two biggest causes of death.

DUDE,
it says it is at the foreign delivery unit, and went through customs and everything! What does that mean? Is it here now? haha I'm soooo excited!

Well at least you know they are in Canada now! Keeping my fingers crossed for you that they get there soon, and healthy!

Sounds like they're in Canada!!! :hyper: If I were you, I'd call my post office right now,if they're still open, and ask if they see the package. Maybe you can go pick it up. But they should definitely be there tomorrow either way. :hyper:
