I need a pick-me-up right now since I'm pretty sad about one of my bettas having dropsy... so decided I'd post some happier pics to get my mood up some. So yep.. here they are!
Bettas first
Marius (the one that currently has dropsy ) in his newly decorated tank. He was sad to see his floating plant go but it was all dead so it had to go. He loves his sword plant though.
Showing off
My 10gal tank after I cleaned it and redid it w/ the 2 oinkers happy to be home finally.
It's infested with hair algae now though.. bleh
Afia doing what she does best... staring me down triyng to get me to feed her
And Raj my goofy one.... those are his happy faces
One of the 5gal hospital tank. Unfortunatly it has an occupant. The blue Ram has a booboo on his head that was starting to get fuzzy so into the tank he went. Think he just injured himself either from chasing the new bolivian or swimming away from it. Poor lil guy.. he's so miserable.
The outside of the tank is filthy.. I know...
Pics of the 28gal....
First up... the newest addition. The mean little bolivian ram.. well only mean to the blue ram unfortunatly. They left eachother alone after a while though. This fish is a trip though, not shy at all like the blue. It comes right up to the front of the tank wiggling away like my bettas do.
Sneak attack.... pic of it sleeping.. muahahaha
1 pic of the hillstream loach. It's usually stuck to the side of the tank by the airstone. Once again, the outside of the tank is dirty. Ya know, you just don't realize how dirty it is until you take a pic of it. And yeah, that's brown algae on the leaf... darn stuff is a pain in the butt to get rid of!
Couple pics of the rasboras... not very good shots though. Here they are.. begging for food.... notice a theme here? heh Oh look, there's one of the gobies at the top of the pic! heh And yes, the tank looks dirty b/c of the algae... gah I hate the stuff!
another sneak attack... but the harlequins were ready for it! The porkchops were off in the corner still snoozing.. no pics of them though
How about some cories next?
Here's the fattest, largest one we have. I swear it's HUGE compared to the others. It always has one that seems to pester it all the time.. probably a male...
Sneak attack! Julii cories snoozing! Aren't cory 'butts' just so cute!
And a pic of the lone skunk cory. Poor guy. All of it's buddies died. Thought he was a goner for a while, but he's a fighter! He seems healthy now which is great, but unfortunatly his lil whiskers are no more. He was like that when we got him though.... never getting cories from that fish shop again....
And finally... some pics of the bumblebee gobies! YAY! They are quickly becoming a fav fish of mine. They're just SO cute with their grumpy little faces and I just love the way they swim/pause/stick to the wall.. etc etc. Very interesting lil fishies.
Caught this one sleeping! Muahaha.. if you didn't guess by now.. I took all of the "sneak attack" ones when lights had been off for a while so all the fish were snoozing as I snapped some shots heh
Earlier in the day, checking me out.
They have the perfect camo with our gravel.. they blend in so well!
